Biography
Amy has been developing social studies content for more than 25 years, having worked for publishers, for developers, and as a developer of K-12 print and digital materials. She enjoys creating content that engages students and provides thoughtful, doable activities to help teachers meet the learning needs of all their students.
Fun Facts
Amy enjoys reading history, taking long runs, supporting her teenage daughter and son in their sports, as well as sipping a good bourbon by the fire. Her passion for social studies began as a child, when her father would ask her and her older siblings historical questions at the dinner table.

Amy understands that students and teachers need to know, discuss, and think critically about our country’s and our world’s geography, history, civics and government, cultures, and economics because today they are more important than ever.
